The Appearance of the Siberian Husky is striking, and that of a wolf having a dramatic resemblance to its ancestor in particular the Grey or now known Timber wolf. This resemblance however, is only that a resemblance and it is considered no closer related to the wolf than any other breed.
The Siberian Husky is a medium sized dog which origins date back many thousands of years and is considered one of the oldest breeds of dog ever, and of the Chukchi tribes of the east-Siberian peninsula. There is also evidence, however, that Siberian dogs were also imported from the Koryak and Kamchadal tribes.
